OSHA Safety Training Passport Program The basic safety training program is an unprecedented partnership that came about as a result of the collectively bargained agreement that was ratified on June 18, 1998 by the Mechanical Contractors Association of Greater Dayton and the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local Union No. 162. With the further support of OSHA, a core curriculum was created that will provide awareness training and competent person training of the hazards encountered on construction sites. This program has been completed as of April 7, 2001.
